Is Pioneer Recalling My DDJ-SX3?
Check the serial number printed on both the packing box and controller to check if yours needs fixing. Affected units do not have a black dot beside the bar code or serial number on the box and the product itself. If yours looks like this, contact them via the phone number or this link.
If your barcode has a black dot beside it then your controller needs no repair.

Pioneer didn’t mention if this issue affects controllers bought outside of North America so you are most likely safe. That said, there is no harm in checking if yours has the dot.
